No. The AN000297A01 is designed for APX NEXT and APX NEXT XE. Motorola states that APX NEXT antennas should not be used with older APX-family radios such as the APX 6000 and APX 8000 because the antenna/GPS architecture is different.

• APX 6000, APX 7000, APX 8000 and other earlier APX portables. Those radios need an antenna with GPS hardware built in. APX NEXT antennas have none because the GPS receiver is inside the radio, so Motorola states they cannot be used on other APX models.
