NTN1667A: This NTN1667A is a Replacement Charging Unit for the Motorola Original NTN1667A Charger. These chargers support Nickel Cadmium, Nickel Metal Hydride, and Lithium-ion batteries. They will rapid charge most batteries to 90% capacity in one to two hours and employ trickle and maintenance modes that ensure batteries are safely charged to their full capacity. Product Features: Replaceable pod allows future use with different radios / batteries. Charges battery with or without radio. Status LED confirms charging in progress, charging 80% complete, and fully charged. For future changes in radios all the operator needs to do is purchase different charging pods that are inserted into charging base. Lithium ion (Li-Ion), nickel metal hydride (NiMH), or nickel cadmium (NiCd) chemistry. The power supply 110 line is included, however it is replaceable.
